Integration with sleep & diet tracking apps#553

H

I already track my sleep with another app. Having ways to grab the data from the other apps would be helpful instead of manual input. The primary app I used to track my sleep actually integrates with Google fit. Many other apps also integrate with Google fit. If it were possible for this app to read from Google fit for the sleep tracking portions and other data such as heart rate breathing rate etc that could be useful for a lot of other customers.

Same here! Ive been using “Sleep Cycle” for years and it would be great for the app to read sleep data.

also import fom mpre generic apps like google fit, which agregates data from multiple devices like fitbit, android watches, etc.

This includes things like sleep, weight, exercise, etc.

I’d like to add Health Connect (an Android generic health app) and Sleep as Android to the integration wish list.

It would be very helpful if I could integrate Migraine Buddy with a food tracking and/or allergy tracking app. I don’t want to use a diet app, but I do want to see if I have food intolerances that are triggering my migraines.

Food tracking would be super helpful. Also anything that helps us discover more triggers. Like asking us how stressful was today? Anything happen outside of usual routine? And what did we eat? Then it could track trends like “you said you ate pizza 4 times over the last 2 months and 3 out of those 4 days you later reported a migraine”

I agree on the food tracking. Would be great to track time and what I ate to see if I’m waiting too long, or not eating the right thing.

Oh and water tracking, like putting in how much water I’m drinking in a day vs other beverages.

Also I don’t know how it is tracking my sleep? I don’t put in anything but it’s giving me a report on the sleep anyway?

Thanks for your message. Food tracking is a development that we considered adding to the app. We identified 20+ chemicals in food that can raise the risk of developing migraine symptoms. This makes it too difficult to 1. track efficiently and 2. make correlations for our reporting engine.
In fact, it would take way more than a lifetime to isolate non obvious food sensitivities due to the very large amount of food containing these chemicals, combined with the difficulty of tracking them and the presence of all non-dietary factors
Please read more here: https://migrainebuddy.com/relief/2018/9/17/the-curse-of-migraine-food-tracking
Instead, we have developed a program that explains how to deal with food and lifestyle while suffering from migraine. The Good Days DIY book is part of Migraine Buddy MBplus subscripiton.
