Tracking post drones & prodromes#770

O

I wish I could track post drones & prodromes separate from migraines as well as suspected triggers like “exposed to cigarette smoke” - log it & then see how soon afterwards a migraine pops up or “scalp hurts - prodrome?” And then see how soon a migraine pops up

Does anyone know of a work around? Where to best place the Prodrome stage, time Prodrome started/ended? And also to notate the Postdrome stage of Chronic Migraine Headache attack? Any ideas are greatly appreciated :-)..I have been recording each stage in the Migraine Buddy note(s) section. T/U.

Hello @Oinonenehren @Jksulley1 you can already do it. For that you can create new attack types in the attack screen (when you record an attack). In that acreen, scroll down, you will see a button called “add new”. Tap on it and add any type of attack including prodrome, postdrome, or other types of pain (for example back pain ect). You will therefore be able to track each phase separately.

It would be great if there’s a way to link prodrome and postdrome phases to the actual migraine attack

you also can do that as you can select 2 attack types for 1 record

Not solved yet… While you can opt to have separate records for each phase or record as one instance with each phase selected. There is no way to merge if you stop one and then the next phase starts. Which makes reading calendar hard as the diffeent phase types aren’t color coded or time stamped.

Would be great to be able to merge attacks for instance a prodrome finishes you stop attack but then an hour later head part of attack starts so you start a new attack… Would be nice to merge these but have time notes of the different phase start points. So you get a clearer picture on number of attacks.

Or at a minimum color code attack phases differently on calendar and reports to account for this phases with interludes

Hope that makes sense

I’m still new to tracking/managing my migraines and figuring out my symptoms (including prodrome). I think it would be great to be able to log symptoms separately from an attack, because I’m not always sure if they’re going to lead to a full on attack or if they’ll just clear up.
