Have a full body instead of a head where we can track where the pain/migraine started. I have hemiplegic migraines and sometimes my head doesn’t hurt but my migraine starts in my hands or my calf.
Just posted a similar suggestion to include full body.
Also I know for me my tingle / numb throat and the feeling of being punched in the nose are signals that I’m getting an episode. Yet I can’t select those areas on the head position.
@Petite Chaos @Briggrimm @Ainslie Divers thanks for your suggestion!
I completly understand the need of such feature!
As of now, you can keep track of it in other parts of the recording flow:
Use the section “Premonitory symptoms / did you sense it coming”
Scroll down, there you have a button called “add new”. Tap on it and create an any body part over there.
Use the notes:
Scroll down, there are some options to help you easily create a story. You can keep track of your pain position along with pain intensity overtime in this section!
Wishing you a lovely, migraine-free day!
Jenny
This would be amazing. Truly. I get premonitory symptoms all around my body depending on the attack, and being able to pinch/zoom/manipulate the body and select options other than the head would truly be great. It would also cut down on time needed to interact with the screen which can be near impossible during some attacks.
I have LOTS of Migraines that don’t have ANY head pain. I have ALL the other symptoms of a migraine & my Migraine Specialist agrees that they’re migraines (& has me take one of my abortives for them).
I also get Migraines that start in my low-back or sometimes, between my shoulder-blades!
But like many others, it seems, that Head Only set of choices in the “Pain Onset” section of the record is Way too Limited (& for me, Usually gets Left EMPTY!).
My migraines/headaches often start in my left shoulder. It would be nice to be able to include
Please add front neck locations. It is common for me to have very painful area along the front part of my neck along the artery. Discovered yesterday that I am unable to select front neck locations on the pain location chart. Please expand the chart to add more body locations.
This is already possible though. You have to add the symptom yourself but it’s quick and easy. I did it for the tingling I get in my back, arms etc
Having to put it elsewhere makes it unintuitive (adding cognitive overhead), and locks certain users out of a section of reporting that the app uses for calculations and reporting. It also complicates the app under the hood, since it has to look in multiple locations for that data, instead of one place with standardized data.
I’d also like a “very top/crown of head” location. A lot of my headaches are on the crown of the head, and don’t favor the front, back, or sides as in the diagram.
