I’ve used this app on and off for nine years and appreciate how helpful it’s been. My only issue is that on Android there used to be a fixed notification on my drop down menu when I would record a migraine, reminding me to update the recorded migraine. Now the app says it will check in with me several hours later (usually being the middle of the night.) I searched through the app’s settings and can’t find a way to change this. :(
I have found I can use the medication tracking to keep a persistent notification going. But also I find those notifications checking in very disruptive and honestly discouraging when it tells me how long I have been in an attack. Sometimes it feels like the kids in the back seat asking if we are there yet.
@Matthew Ferguson how do you turn it on? Do you have an android?
The app no longer “checks in” several hours later either it’ll just forget I have an ongoing log completely.
I’m the medications screen for a headache, if you select to track a medication you can click the little stop watch under the dosage selection and that will set an ongoing notification. If you still aren’t seeing that you may want to go into your across settings in the app section and make sure notification permission is on for migraine buddy.
Hi Matthew and Rebecca, we are still working on the best way to address the ‘do not forget to end the attack’ matter. This is not the final version yet. Thank you in advance for your patience. Jenny
